Synopsis / Plot
Koichi Uehara is a fourth grade student living in the suburb of Tokyo. One day, he picks up a large stone which turns out to be a fossil of a baby “Kappa” (=A Japanese mythical water creature) sleeping underground for the past 300 years, and names it “Coo”. Koichi and Coo become good friends and starts living with his family. However, Coo could not adjust to the life style in Tokyo and starts to miss his family. Synopsis / Plot
One night many, many years ago, long before anyone lived nearby, a very strange thing happened — a flying saucer crash-landed into a hilltop, which happened to be the home of a curious young kumiho, or fox spirit. Synopsis / Plot
Konno Makoto (voiced with great enthusiasm and likability by Naka Riisa) is your typical Japanese high school student who deals with typical teen problems at school and home. Her best friends include brainy hunk Tsuda Kousuke (Itakura Mitsutaka) and happy-go-lucky transfer stuent Mamiya Chiaki (Ishida Takuya). As with the novel and previous movies, Makoto’s world is suddenly turned upside down as she develops the ability to traverse backwards in time (in this case, through a “time leaping” device hidden within a walnut shell).
